Repos
Everything this handbook describes is built from a handful of code repositories. The cards below list each one: what it is, where it lives, and whether it is private — you are invited or public. You need none of them to use UCC — the install already carries what runs. They are here for reading the code, filing a fix, or building on it.
If you are not a developer, you can stop here: nothing on this route is a step you have to take.
Where the private ones live
The private repositories live on ZT's own git server, git.0xdao.app — a Forgejo site, like a small private GitHub. You do not sign up there (sign-up is closed); ZT creates your account and adds it as a collaborator with write access to each private repository on the cards. Public ones live on GitHub and need no account.
The invitation
The invitation is in ZT's message: your login name on git.0xdao.app and a first password. There is nothing to accept — the repositories are already shared with the account. To use it:
- Sign in at git.0xdao.app with that login and password; the site asks you to choose a new password.
- Your dashboard now lists the private repositories.
- For git on the command line, create a personal access token under Settings → Applications — give it read and write access to repositories, and copy it once; the site shows it only then.
Dive in: cloning
Git on your machine reaches git.0xdao.app over HTTPS only. When git asks, the username is your login name and the password is the token from step 3, not your site password. Replace <repo> with a name from the cards:
git clone https://git.0xdao.app/caoer115/<repo>.git
A repository that names other git.0xdao.app repositories by SSH (git@git.0xdao.app:…, for example as submodules) needs one setting first, so git takes the HTTPS path for them too:
git config --global url."https://git.0xdao.app/".insteadOf "git@git.0xdao.app:"
Public repositories clone from their GitHub address on the card with no token. To keep git from asking for the token every time, let your system's credential helper store it (macOS: git config --global credential.helper osxkeychain).
